What about Science?

The Foundation believes that a basic understanding of the nature of science and an appreciation of its methods and philosophy continue to be necessary parts of education.

Although science is nominally covered in the K-12 curriculum, the science program is lacking in many areas.

The Foundation is focused on programs for the sciences which are not currently funded through other sources, such as:

  • - Science Specialists in Elementary
  • - Interesting and challenging science programs
  • - Fully equipped science labs
  • - Expanded extracurricular opportunities
  • - Expanded opportunity to connect students to real-world science activities
