Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is composed of dedicated volunteers with experience and interest in the Arts, Sciences, and Education. The Advisory Board is composed of volunteers who represent each school, the district and the local arts council. The advisory board meets each spring to recommend programs to be funded to the Executive Board who has the final authority to distribute and designate funds to Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD). Thanks to our wonderful volunteers who worked on the advisory board this spring.

Funding Process

The Advisory Board meets each spring to determine what programs are funded. The representative from each school brings program ideas to the first advisory board meeting. This brainstorming meeting is utilized to collect ideas for programs to fund. At the second meeting, the proposed funding list is prioritized and finalized by the advisory board. The recommended funding list is then provided to the executive board for final approval.
