Programs for 2002-2003 PSEE is providing $9,500 to PUSD this fall for a variety of programs. These programs were selected based on the recommendations of the Advisory Board which met a couple times in the spring of 2002. ¨ $1,600 for Strings 2000 to buy a half-size string bass, keyboard and music ¨ $250 for the Elementary Honors Band ¨ $1,400 for a choir instructor for the ¨ $4,000 for piano accompanist for the High Schools (split Amador and Foothill) ¨ $1,600 for Teaching Arts to Teachers for copies of videos for later reference ¨ $750 for a Baritone for the Middle School (Hart Middle School) ¨ $1,500 for after school Drama ¨ $2,150 to support Village Photography Program (cameras, film and processing) ¨ $500 for a scan mike for Harvest Park
Note: This year’s funding includes some reallocation of unspent funds from 2001-2002 Programs for 2001-2002 PSEE is providing $10,000 to PUSD this fall for a variety of programs. These programs were selected based on the recommendations of the Advisory Board which met a couple times in the spring of 2001. ¨ $6,000 for after school programs (Art, Drama and Choir) at the middle school ¨ $1,200 for Strings 2000 continuation into middle school ¨ $1,500 for Rock Music after school program at Pleasanton Middle School ¨ $800 for materials for teachers who attend the special continuing education on how to teach art ¨ $500 for piano accompanist for the High School
Only the after school drama program was able to be staffed. The art and choir programs were not able to be staffed, hence $4,000 was reallocated to the fall 2002-2003 school year. |
