The Foundation believes that a basic understanding of the nature of science and an appreciation of its methods and philosophy continue to be necessary parts of education. Although science is nominally covered in the K-12 curriculum, the science program is lacking in many areas. The Foundation is focused on programs for the sciences which are not currently funded through other sources, such as: ¨ Science Specialists in Elementary ¨ Interesting and challenging science programs ¨ Fully equipped science labs ¨ Expanded extracurricular opportunities ¨ Expanded opportunity to connect |
